Our family regrets to announce but humbly accepts that Sandra Gladden of Pleasant Grove Utah has returned to her heavenly home at the young age of 69.
Sandra was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 19, 1951 to Ralph and Kathryn (Read) Gladden.
Sandra has also lived in, Orem, Provo, American Fork and Pleasant Grove Utah; Concord, California; Crown Point, Indiana and Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Concord High School in California.
Sandra loves to crochet, play games, decorate cakes, do many crafts and quilt, as well as has a love for animals especially dogs. She loves doing Humanitarian work. Sandra made several hats and scarfs for the homeless and for Orphanages in Central America.
Sandra’s greatest passion was gathering stories, and photos of her entire family and their history. She found lots of new cousins for us. Her big smile and loving hug were yours forever.
She was a valiant member of the Church if Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved attending the Temple.
She is survived by her Sister Ann Gladden Johnson and her children, her aunt Carolyn (Read) Green, as well as many extended family members including many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Kathryn (Read) Gladden, her brother Harold Donald Gladden, her nieces Brittany Lofthouse and Aurora Avila, her Aunt Helen (Read) Burt, her cousins Morgan VanGerven and Jacob Merritt and also other grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the love and wonderful care Sandra received from all of the staff at Welcome Home Assisted Living of American Fork and the Symbii Home Health and Hospice team.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. Please be considerate and wear a mask and remember social distancing.
