Patricia Campbell

Patricia Carol Campbell, 87, of Orem, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born on October 26, 1934, in Provo, Utah to Anna Pearl Froisland and William Isaac Griffiths. She married Lyman Marion Campbell on June 10, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2017.

She attended Provo High School and played on the girls’ basketball team. She studied at Brigham Young University for two years then later studied at Fullerton Jr. College. She worked as a librarian, telephone operator, data clerk, file clerk, hospital admittance clerk, and PBX operator. She loved genealogy and felt a special connection to her ancestors.

Patricia loved her family and friends very much and supported them any way she could. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous callings through the years. She loved the Lord. She was gentle, soft-spoken, and patient. She was an excellent example of compassionate service.

Patricia is survived by her three daughters: Jeanene (John) of Orem, Utah, Terra (Wayne) of Othello, Washington, and Bonnie (Tim) of Orem, Utah, twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, two brothers, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the Timpanogos 3rd Ward LDS Church Building located at 1000 North Main Street in Orem, Utah. A viewing for friends and family will be held just prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Orem City Cemetery.
