Keven Clift

June 8, 1972 — April 26, 2020

Keven Clayton Clift, 47, of Heber City, unexpectedly passed away the morning of April 26th, 2020. He was born on June 8th, 1972 in Orange County, California to James Patrick Clift and Sue Mary Doyle.

Keven Joined the U.S. Army in 1990. He enjoyed alot of things in life, including fishing, camping and fixing things but his biggest enjoyment was spending time with his 3 sons and his grandchildren.

Keven is survived by his 3 sons: Steven J. (Kimberly) of Heber City, Levi A. (Ashlie) of Price and Brandon J. of Gunnison; 7 Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, 2 Sisters, 3 Step Brothers, 6 Nephews, 5 Nieces, 3 Aunts and his Father James (Jim) of Springville. He is also survived by his 3 best friends Mike B., Donnie E., and Brandon B., as well as many close friends and loved ones that he made an impression on throughout his young life.

At the request of Keven, no funeral arrangements have been made and he decided with his sons to be cremated and given to his sons. Steven, Levi and Brandon will hold a closed memorial with close family and close friends in the near future and immediate family and friends will be notified by the 3 sons.

Keven was a great man who struggled with many battles. Aside from the battles he cherished his sons, his grandchildren and his siblings. There isn't a soul he wouldn't give his last penny to, and anyone who ever met him would say he was full of love. He often used humor to handle everyday things which has passed on to his sons. He would often say, " I am never late but I am never on time!'', and for anyone that knew him, that is a very fitting quote!

Keven was extremely close to his younger brother Kerry. They both spent a lot of time together from working together, camping, fishing and even the occassional sibling rivalry. If you couldn't get in touch with Keven, Kerry would know where and how to get ahold of him. The brotherhood the two shared will always be cherished as they often leaned on eachother more than they leaned on anyone else. Kerry will always be Kevens little big brother, and Keven's sons are proud to have Kerry as their uncle.

If you were to ask him of his greatest accomplishments, it would start with meeting and having a son with each of his sons moms; Deanna L., Machelle I. and Yvonne H. Secondly, his 3 sons were his pride and joy. He spent a lot of time with his youngest Brandon, trying to raise him the best he knew how. He and Brandon moved to Heber City to work for his older son Steven and daughter in law Kim's Construction business, where they all spent more time messing around then actually working. The middle child, Levi, who arguably could be the favorite, but the boys haven't quite decided, lives in Price with his family where Keven would often go and stay for long periods to spend time with his family. Keven was a great father but an even better grandfather to his grandkids. He missed out on a lot of the early years of his 3 sons, but more than made up for it by being a part of each of his grandchildrens lives. The grandkids ranged in ages from 5 years old to 12 years old, and they all loved him dearly. His Grandkids names starting from youngest to oldest are Korbyn(5), Kassi(5), Addie(8), Ethan(9), Maddilynn(10), Kaydance(11) and Olivia(12). His sons ages are Steven(30), Levi(28) and Brandon(23). All 3 of his boys are extremely close to eachother and loved their dad alot. He will truly be missed but never forgotten!

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal."

An insert from his 3 boys: " We love you dad, and we know that wherever you are, you are telling us your famous line, "Just give me a minute!!"
