July 14, 1969 ~ June 16, 2022 (age 52)

Obituary

Kari Lynn Hilditch 52, beloved daughter, sister, auntie and friend, passed away on June 16, 2022.  She was born July 14, 1969 in Redlands California to Robert Eldon Hilditch and Janet Hawes Hilditch Lewis.

Kari attended Fountain Valley High School and graduated from Timpview High School 1987.  She studied Art History and Spanish at Brigham Young University.  She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Puerto Rico from 1990-1992.

Above all, Kari loved her family. She enjoyed going to the beach and traveling.  She loved all things beautiful. She was a foodie who often shared her baking skills with others.  She loved rockin’ out to 80’s music and always found time for her guilty pleasure of Diet Coke with lime.  Kari was a compassionate and loving person who was quick to find the needs of others and was generous in helping and serving them.

She is survived by her step-father Robert Carl Lewis Sr; siblings: her twin sister Sheri Hilditch (Catherine Gajardo), Shelly Hilditch Waite (Clint Waite), Katie Lewis (Nate Hansen), Cherie MacLean (Josh MacLean), Robert Lewis (Anja Lewis), Steven Lewis (Mandy Lewis) and her beloved dog Lola.  She is preceded in death by her mother, father and sister JoAnne Hilditch Harris.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pheasant Pointe West Building, 1530 West Pheasant Pointe Drive, Lehi, UT, 84043.  A memorial will be held in Alexandria, VA on September 10, 2022 with more details to follow.
