Gloria Jean Davis Durfey, 72, of Orem, passed away Friday May 1, 2020. She was born June 14, 1947 in Provo Utah to William Nelson Davis and Ruth Ann Wilkinson Davis. She married Thomas Alva Durfey on August 24, 1963 in Orem Utah.
Gloria was a homemaker raising four children with a few “extras” that would happily claim her as their “second mother”. She enjoyed crafting and was extremely good at it. She put together all of her children’s wedding flowers plus many more. She loved games, including cards games, dominos, crocket, horseshoes and most of all water fights though she claimed she never started them but we all knew better. She loved camping, hunting and fishing, but most of all she loved doing anything that involved spending time with her family including her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Thomas Alva Durfey of Orem and her four children: Troy Durfey of Orem, Angela (Karl) Reed of Rock Springs Wyoming, William (Angie) Durfey of Cedar Fort, Samantha (Charles) Bright of Orem; 12 grandchild, and 22 great grandchildren and her sister Diana Weeks of Pleasant Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth, brothers Albert and Stephen Davis, and sisters Patsy Pittmon and Barbara Burr.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions funeral services will be held privately. In lieu to flowers, please donate to give.huntsmancancer.org or kidneyut.org
