David Jenkins

David Michael Jenkins, 68, of Orem, passed away June 2, 2021. He was born June 10, 1952 in Provo, Utah to David John Jenkins and Mary Jane Thomsen Jenkins.

Mike worked at Albertsons and Ridley’s for over 50 years. He enjoyed doing puzzles, helping neighbors with yard work or anything he could and enjoyed all types of crafts such as ceramics and making candy.

He loved life, talking with people and teasing or giving people a “hard time”. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as an elder, home teacher and greeter.

Mike is survived by his brother Peter George Jenkins of Orem, Utah; niece Dallas Jenkins Broadhead and her husband Duane Broadhead also their children Emmalyn and Nathen. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Mary.

A graveside burial service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021, at 10 am at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery located at 4800 N. 650 E. Provo, Utah 84601.

Following the service a luncheon will be provided by the Geneva Heights 2nd Ward. The meeting house is located at 590 N. 900 W. Orem, Utah 84057.
