Betty LaVon Marriott Winter, 91, passed away May 2, 2022. She was born in Coronado, California to Ren Donaldson Stewart and Blanche LaVon Brown Stewart. She married Frank Manford Marriott September 6, 1946 and Rulon Don Winter September 20, 2014. They both preceded her in death.

Betty worked in a dental office as an office manager. She loved to sew, knit, crochet, and make beautiful things. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many, many positions, including Relief Society President.

Betty is survived by two children: Ted Marriott of Pasadena, California, and Julie Marriott Thurman of St. George, Utah; 5 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 12 great, great grandchildren. She was a widow twice and is also preceded in death by her sister Sybil and brother Howard.

A viewing for family and friends will be held Monday, May 16th from 9:30-10:15 at Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, located at 495 South State Street in Orem. Graveside services will be in the Orem City Cemetery at 11:00 am.  Condolences for the family may be expressed on this page.
