Bettie Mortensen

Bettie Louise Adams Mortensen, 81, of Lehi, Utah, passed away November 7th, 2021. She was surrounded by her sons at the time she was called to be with her Heavenly Father. Bettie was born November 15th, 1939, in Upland, California, to Frank Powhattan Adams and Alma Greear Adams Bartholomew. Bettie married the love of her life Cecil Dale Mortensen September 15, 1961, in the Mesa LDS Temple.

Bettie was a stay-at-home mom as she took care of the house and supported her Husband’s dreams as he started a franchisee of Jiffy Lube. In addition, Bettie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints had served many callings.

Bettie was survived by her two sons: Dale Andrew Mortensen of Lehi; Edward Lee Mortensen of Pleasant Grove, Six grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren.  Bettie was preceded in death by Her Parents Frank Powhattan Adams; Alma Greear Adams Bartholomew, Husband: Cecil Dale Mortensen, Five kids, three brothers, and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 12 at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State St Orem Utah, a visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
