Beth Carter

Beth Margaret Shoell Carter, passed away peacefully July 30, 2019 at her home in Lindon, Utah. She was born April 2nd, 1927 in Lindon, Utah, to Clarence Benjamin and Margaret Carter Shoell

Beth married Thomas Edgar Harris. They had 3 children Tommy, Cecil, and Jerry. They were later divorced.

On November 28th, 1952 she married Edward Jr. Carter. She enjoyed 56 wonderful years with her sweetheart before he passed away 10 years ago. They enjoyed taking many trips and going on cruises.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always loved to be close to her family. She always had the candy jars filled and doors open for company.

She is survived by her 4 children, Cecil Harris, Jerry (Sheryl) Harris, LeAnn (Darrell) Hayes of American Fork, and Michael (Dorothy) Carter of Lindon. Also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Jr. Carter, her son Walter Thomas Harris, her parents, and siblings.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East.  A viewing will be held on Monday at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at SundbergOlpinMortuary.com
