Beryldean Olsen

August 28, 1937 — November 18, 2020

Beryldean, as she preferred to be known, was born in Payson, UT, on August 28, 1937, to Ralph Milan Charles Miller and Edith Fillmore.  She was the third of four daughters.  She graduated from Juab High School in 1955, then worked as an elevator operator at the Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City for 2 years.  She married first, Ardell Rex (Bill) Henderson in July, 1960, and later divorced in 1983.  They had a daughter, Michelle, and adopted a son, Michael.  Beryldean worked for 21 years as a food service cook for Alpine School District, mostly in Orem.  After a work-related injury, she retired and moved to Canyon Breeze Senior Living in Orem.  In January, 2002, she married John M. Olsen.

She is survived by one sister, Florence Howarth, Nephi, a daughter, Michelle Ausbun, (Michael) of Pueblo, CO, 3 Grandsons: Jason Warenski, Nick Warenski (Justin), and Jared Ausbun, along with 3 Great-grandchildren.  From her second marriage, there are 4 step-sons: Kent Olsen of Chandler, AZ,  Dee Olsen of Springville, UT, Randy Olsen (Jerri) of Fairbanks, AK, Chris Olsen (Barbara) of Highland, UT, along with  17 Step-Grandchildren and 40 Step Great-grandchildren.

Beryldean was pre-Deceased by Grandson, Justin Warenski and her 2nd husband, John M. Olsen.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 24, with a 10: A.M. Viewing at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State St., Orem, UT.  That will be followed by Graveside services at 12:00 P.M. at Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi, UT.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
