Whitney Larsen Davis, of Pleasant Grove, passed away peacefully in her home on January 26, 2026, wrapped in love and the presence of family.

Whitney was born in San Rafael, California, alongside her twin brother Rodney. Both were adopted by Reed & Irva Larsen and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Whitney was one of seven children growing up in the Larsen family.

Whitney lived a life marked by strength, devotion, and truly being a giver of her time and love. She found her calling as a Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Events, where she was known for creating welcoming spaces that made people feel genuinely cared for. Through her work, she formed many deep and lasting friendships that evolved into lifelong family friendships.

Those who knew Whitney knew her as loving, warm, and someone always willing to listen and provide a space for you. She loved to cook. Feeding family and friends for Sunday dinner was a favorite household tradition that everyone came to enjoy.

Above all else, she was a mother, and her children meant the world to her.

Whitney married Kevin Wilson in 1986 and later divorced. They had a son, Austin Bruce.

Whitney met Craig Davis, a father of four, in 1993 while working together in Provo, Utah. Craig enjoyed finding opportunities to be in the same room as Whitney, like stealing a few handfuls of her popcorn in the staff break room, for example. With time, Whitney and Craig fell in love and blended their families Brady Bunch style on August 13, 1994. Yabba Dabba Doo! Together, they welcomed a daughter in 1995, Lauren Elizabeth (Elle).

Later in life, Whitney was compelled to search for her birth parents. In 2014, Whitney finally found the names of her birth parents and reached out to learn more about her history. In 2019, she & Rodney, joined by their spouses, flew across the country to meet their long-lost birth mother, Julie Loftus, and half-sister, Betsy Perron. It was an emotional and exciting experience that she never thought would happen.

Whitney found she had a passion and incredible talent for art in her later years of life. She favored watercolor and acrylic resin pours but was skilled at most art modalities. Her paintings, drawings, and doodles will be cherished by many for years to come.

In early 2021, Whitney was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). She battled through many rounds of chemotherapy with Craig by her side during unprecedented times. In the spring, she received a bone marrow transplant from her twin brother and was in remission as of fall 2021. In late 2025, Whitney was diagnosed with an advanced form of terminal cancer called Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). She spent her final days surrounded by family and cherished friends.

Whitney is preceded in death by her loving husband Craig Davis, who passed in May of 2022, her parents Reed & Irva Larsen, her birth mother Julie Loftus, and her siblings Sarah and Melinda.

Whitney is survived by her children McKenna (Stephen) Gordon, Christopher (Alexa) Davis, Bruce (LC) Wilson, Melanie (Evelyn) Davis, Megan (Kendall) Duclos, Elle (Aaron) Baker, her grandchildren Carter Gordon, Rayder Ricks, Lorenzo Gordon, Rome Ricks, Kaiden Butters, Gabriella Gordon, Kai Duclos, Aspen Butters, Rosa (Rosie) Duclos, and Brielle Davis, her siblings Lexia Lynne (Rick) Gibson, Tamara Larsen, Rodney (Marja) Larsen, Elizabeth (Brad) Hansen, Betsy (Andy) Perron, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Rather than a traditional funeral, a Celebration of Life will be held to honor Whitney. This will be a gathering centered around a shared meal, stories, and time together, reflecting her love of gathering people around a table. Those who were meaningfully connected with Whitney are warmly welcome for this time of remembrance. February 21, 2026, at 10:00 at Oliver’s Place, 125 South 2000 West, Pleasant Grove, UT.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of Nana’s Care Team, Rodney & Marja Larsen, everyone involved at Loveland Cancer Clinic, and the hospice nurses and therapists who helped along the way.

Whitney will be deeply missed.
