Tyler Shepard

May 15, 1985 — January 29, 2022

Pleasant Grove, Utah

No farewell words were spoken. No time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.

Tyler was called home to his loving Heavenly Father on January 29, 2022.

After a long battle with addiction, he is finally free.

Tyler was born to Marcye Brown and David Shepard on May 15, 1985.  He was big brother to Larry “Wayne” Brown, Levi Shay, Zack Shay and Jeni Shepard.

Tyler moved around a lot but always considered Utah County his home.

As a child he lived mostly with his Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Terry.  He was the apple of his grandma’s eye. He was naturally talented and strong he spent most of his time challenging his older cousin, Bear, at football, wrestling or basketball. Any time they could, they were out playing on the grass.

Tyler was a free spirit. He knew how to have fun and enjoy life. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, traveling, playing on ATVs and finding water to play on his paddle boards.

He was the cool dad and uncle. He always found ways to help the kids have fun! He was the life of the party and had a contagious laugh.

If you knew Tyler you knew he was a pretty boy and a trend setter, somehow he made skinny jeans and no-lense nerd glasses cool.

Tyler was very charismatic and had a way of making everyone he was around feel as if they were his favorite.  He could also charm his way out of just about any bad situation he found himself in.  If he knew where you lived, he also knew where your fridge was and would quickly make himself at home, especially if you had cheese, milk, or fruity pebbles.

Aside from pretty girls and always having fun, the most important thing to Tyler was his family. He had 4 beautiful children: Ella Skye Shepard, Raif Isaac Shepard, Karmyn Puzey, and Sailyr Shepard.  He was especially close to his cousin Bear and his family as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, along with many friends that he was very close to and considered family.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandpa, Isaac Bruce Brown and his step-daughter,  Karmyn Puzey. He is survived by his Grandma Terry Brown, his mom,  Marcye, and his dad, David (Traci), his siblings, Wayne, Levi, Zack, and Jeni, and his 3 children, Ella, Raif, and Sailyr. His cousin Jeff Bear (Amy) Brown Also many, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Tyler had a way of getting in your heart and planting himself there. He was loved by so many people. He will me missed so much!  Until we meet again.
