It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Timothy Keith Anderberg. Tim returned to his heavenly home on April 29, 2022, surrounded by his loving children. He passed away from an aggressive form of cancer.
Tim was born in Provo, Utah on November 7, 1957, to Keith Lavon Anderberg and Esther Fetterley Anderberg. He was raised in Orem and spent his childhood playing in his granddad’s cherry orchard, scoring runs with his little league baseball team, skiing while on the Sundance Ski team, camping, hunting, and fishing with his family.
Tim’s first job was working with his dad, Keith, as a brick mason. He soon realized that lifting and placing heavy bricks was not for him and decided to put his charismatic charm to use and went into the car selling business.
It was around this time that he met his future bride, Kirstyn Poelman. Tim and Kirstyn were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1990. This union resulted in 6 beautiful and talented children, Taylor Walker (Casey), Rylee Jenkins (Connor), TJ (Ellie), Noah, Dylan and Joey Anderberg. Although Tim and Kirstyn did not remain married, they remained friends.
Tim was a dreamer with a witty and really funny sense of humor. Even as he lie dying, he couldn’t resist jumping into the conversation with a humorous comeback to something someone said. Later in life, he enjoyed taking his family to Lake Powell, boating, and water skiing. He still snow-skied and loved to golf. All activities, he says, are surely awaiting him in the hereafter. “The best vacation I could ever ask for.”
Tim’s passing leaves an ache in the hearts of his 6 cherished children, his adored grandchildren, Indi Jenkins and Finnegan Walker; his siblings, Linda Drotman (Steve), Nancy Nielsen as well as his aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Yet, their loss is the gain of Tim’s mother, father, sister (Robin), brother (Kelly), nephew (KC) who preceded him in death and are ready to welcome him to his new home.
