Stephanie Jo Dunnivan Adams, 57 of Orem, Utah passed away December 31, 2018 after her second valiant battle with cancer

Stephanie was born June 26, 1961 in Payson, Utah to Wallace Hennley Dunnivan and Peggy Merlene Davis.  She married Richard Lewis Adams on November 21, 1997 in the Mount Timpanogas LDS Temple. She was proceeded in death by her son Jeremy Elton, both of her parents, her brother Hank Dunnivan, Sister Susie Robertson and Granddaughter McKenzie Sanchez.  She is survived by husband Richard Adams, children Daniel (Mandy) Sanchez, Christopher (April) Sanchez, Melissa (Jesse) Hatfield, Matthew (Nacole) Elton, sisters Merlene (David) Peay and Sherrill (David) Boyd.  She was an amazing grandma to 20 grandkids, soon to be 21, and 3 great grandkids.

Stephanie Graduated from Spanish Fork High School and later continued her education earning an associate’s degree from UVCC.  She enjoyed spending the last 25 years working for Allen’s Grocery store where she made many friends who were more like family.  She was a very generous person with a huge heart.  Many times she put others before herself.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a firm believer of the gospel.  She had a love for reading, shopping with her girls, The Bachelor and watching the Royals. She loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed every minute she spent with them, which was usually cooking some of the best food.  More than anything, she loved spoiling her grandchildren.

We are heartbroken that she had to go but we also know she has been eagerly awaiting the reunion with her son.  She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was a great example to all of us. To say she will be missed is an understatement.

A viewing will be held at Sundberg-Olpin Funeral home on Friday, January 4th from 6:00-8:00 pm.  A second viewing will be held on January 5th at her church, 365 South 900 East Orem, UT, from 10:00-11:00 am. We will have graveside service immediately following in Payson City Cemetery.
