Shane Lee Millett was born September 7, 1969 to Barbara and LeGrande Millett. He passed away on January 1, 2020. Shane was greeted in heaven by his dad, LeGrande, where they are sure to be fishing or working on classic cars.
Shane grew up in Orem, Utah. One of Shane’s biggest accomplishments was receiving his high school diploma after being told at a young age that he wouldn’t be able to learn how to read or write. Along with working on anything that had a motor, Shane liked to build model cars. The Tasmanian Devil was Shane’s favorite character. It’s also a great representation of his attitude.
If you had the chance to meet him, it's likely that he would have teased you or offered you his help. Sometimes he did both. Shane cared for those close to him and he had a special bond with both of his parents.
Shane was a son, a brother, a nephew, an uncle, and a friend to many. Shane is survived by his mother, Barbara, and siblings Dawn, Chris, Randy, Debbie, and Stacy.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 12 noon in the Orem City Cemetery located at 1520 North 800 East. A viewing for friends and family will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street in Orem.
The family suggests sending donation contributions to his funeral and memorial fund to his sister, Dawn Murdock, directly at 3644 East Hwy 6, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660 or online at https://www.gofundme.com/f/shane-millett039s-memorial-amp-funeral-fund.
