Robert Conger

Our beloved father Robert passed away peacefully in his home on August 27, 2018 of natural causes.

He was born July 4, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to Enos Woodford Conger and Pearl Christine Groves.  He was the father of seven children, 28 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.

Bob was a wonderful father, son, brother, grandfather, husband and friend to many.  He had many talents and qualities that he passed on to all of us.  He was a hard worker and provided for his family very well.  Everyone that knew him loved him.  He loved riding horses in his younger days, loved to garden, and truck driving was his life for many years.  He was proud to be a Veteran.

Robert is predeceased in death by his wife of 70 years, Arlene Anderson.  He is survived by his children: son Robert Kay (Anita), daughter Verlene Cornwell (Tom), daughter Ruth Ann Angelo (Michael), son Raymond R (Sherry), daughter Suzanne Phillips (Bob), daughter Christine and daughter Darlene Horlacher (Paul) as well as his sister Joyce Pyper and his brother Nyle Colton.

The family would like to thank the Elevation Hospice staff, especially Malene Washington, Sergio De Jesus, and Bonnie Behchek for their compassionate service and care over the past several years.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Sharon 4th ward building located at 700 East 445 South in Orem, Utah.  There will be a viewing the night before at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street in Orem from 6:00-8:00 pm and 1 hour prior to the funeral at the Church.  Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery immediately following the services.
