Reisa Dawn Riggs Obispo

Reisa Dawn Riggs - Mother, Grandmother, and dear friend, passed away November 9, 2025, surrounded by those she loved, in Orem, Utah, at the age of 59.

Reisa was born July 28, 1966, in St. Paul, Minnesota, and was adopted shortly after by loving parents Robert E. and Hazel-Dawn Riggs. She was one of 7 children, the only girl. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and especially loved her former calling of playing piano for the children's Primary. Reisa had recently downsized and moved from her longtime residence in Orem, Utah, to a nice and cozy home in American Fork, Utah, which she was happy to call home and took much pride in. She loved decorating for the holidays, burning a new scented candle while enjoying a true crime series, and making sure everyone who visited was comfortable. Her compassion and kindness for others will be greatly missed.

Reisa was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hazel-Dawn, brother Raymond, and daughter Chelsea. She is survived by many family and friends who loved her, most notably her children, Thor Everson (Stacy), Alexia Bishop (Blair), Briana Reyes, Gabriel Reyes, Christian Obispo (Genevieve), and 6 grandchildren.
