Rebecca Adele Jensen (Becky), 80, died on October 27, 2026, after a battle with cancer. She was born August 22, 1946, to Gilbert M. Jensen and Adele Jensen (nee Johnson) in Salt Lake City but resided in Orem for all but her first few years. She grew up in the company of aunts, sisters, and cousins that remained important to her throughout her life.

Becky graduated from Orem High School and enjoyed working for her father at Utah Valley Builders Supply. When her children came of school age, she performed various retail and service jobs, including being a store manager for the Western Nut Company in the University Mall, and an attendant at the Utah State Hospital. Her favorite role was substitute elementary teacher, which she performed for several years with Alpine School District.

Becky actively participated in community classes, local singing groups, bowling leagues, and arts/crafts. Her particular interest in painting, glazing, and curing ceramics spanned many years and filled numerous curio cabinets. She enjoyed an expansive network of long-time close friends and dedicated her life to caring for and spending time with her cherished and deeply loved grandchildren.

Becky is survived by her children, Daniel (Diana) and Sandra (Jon), and her grandchildren, Gabe, Tanner, Maya, Ayden, and Avery. Becky is preceded in death by her parents and her daughters, Carolyn and SueAnn.

Interment will be at the Provo City Cemetery, where she will be buried near her parents. An update will be provided with the time and place of the graveside services. Attendees are invited to wear blue, Becky’s favorite color, if they wish to do so.
