Paul Christen

Paul Christen passed away May 9th, at the age of ninety, ten days after being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. His loving sweetheart and family were blessed to be with him as he joined his family members on the other side. Born March 15, 1924 to Ernest and Clara Jaggi. He honorably served our country during WWII in the US Navy. He married Jessie Thompson on May 19, 1951. He was a retired Geneva steelworker who enjoyed winters in Yuma, AZ until a few years ago. He loved his many trips to Lake Powell. He played golf two days a week last season and was making plans to join his buddies this season. He is dearly loved and survived by his wife, Jessie, and their children Dan and Carla Forbes, Dennis and Eun Christen, Frank (deceased) and Jolene Todd and Paul D and Kris Christen. He loved his 16 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. He leaves behind his only surviving sibling Bobbi Bourgeous. The viewing will be held Tue, May 13, from 6-8pm at Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 S State Street, Orem. Funeral services will be held at the mortuary, Wed, May 14, at 11am with a viewing from 9:45-10:45am. We want to thank everyone for their kindness, especially Encompass Hospice Service, for their wonderful care for this remarkable man.
