Patsy Ivie

Patsy Ann Barker Huff Ivie, 70, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was born on June 1, 1948 in Provo, UT, to Glen Vernon Barker and Lois Gladys Bates.  She was married and sealed to Conrad J. Huff in 1967 in the Manti temple, then was later divorced. In 1980, she married Wendell Roger Ivie and had 3 boys, Scotty Lyn, Wendell Ryan, and Jeffrey Dean.

In 1965/1966, she was Miss Art City Days in Springville, Utah. She graduated from Springville High and went on to Beauty School. She also worked at Geneva for 26 years. She loved to write poems, loved being with her many Grand-kids and getting together with her old co-workers from Geneva. She also enjoyed being outdoors and crocheting, loved music, always liked to help people when she could and would do everything with a big smile that would not quit and just had too much love for this world.

Pat is survived by her 3 boys, Scotty Lyn (Angela Marie) Ivie, Wendell Ryan (Christie Noel) Ivie, Jeffrey Dean Ivie (Jamie Rhoads); Her sister and brothers, Evelyn,"Morris “-sister, Steven Aaron (Sheirleen) Barker, Samuel (Vickee) Barker, James (Sandra) Barker, and Dennis (Susan) Barker, -brothers; and her 11 Grand-kids who she loved so very much and stepchildren Wayne, Darla, Mike, Tina, Judy, Tracy and all their children. Pat is preceded in death by her parents Glen and Lois, her brother Roy, Niece Irene, and many others.

There will be a Public Viewing held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St, Orem, UT, from 6 - 7 p.m. The Family Viewing begins at 5 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary as well.

Our hearts are heavy knowing we are going to miss this wonderful lady.
