Nancy Jensen

Nancy Jo Jensen, 84, of Orem, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born September 24, 1938, in Ellsworth, Kansas, to Marvin Virgil Boss and Ida Franklin Boss. She married William Edward Jensen on June 26, 1965.

Nancy enjoyed working in retail, especially her last job at Mervyn’s in Orem. She was very good at sewing and made most of her daughter’s clothes when her daughter was in school. Later she learned to paint ceramic bisque and made many adorable holiday decorations. She loved babysitting her grandson, Aidan, and had a wonderful relationship with him as he grew up.

Nancy is survived by her daughter: Christine (Andrew) Schwartz of Orem, Utah; three grandchildren; and her sister Sue Belden of Andover, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister Norma Smith.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park located at 17111 S. 1700 W. Bluffdale, Utah.
