Nancy Kaye Carter Jackson (84), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at home surrounded by family members. She was born in Lehi on June 15, 1941, to Edward F Carter Jr. and Maurita Crossley. Nancy grew up in Provo, Utah, and graduated from Provo High School in 1959.
Nancy married her husband, Paul M Jackson, on February 11, 1960. They lived in Provo most of their married lives. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City, LDS temple. He preceded her in death on October 30, 2014.
She worked full-time at a variety of companies, she worked at the telephone switchboard for AT&T, as well as BYU. She spent a couple of years self-employed with a convenience store. She then worked until retirement at Nestlé’s plant in Springville. Finishing off her working career in the payroll office.
Nancy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held numerous callings. Her favorite being any calling in the primary organizations.
Nancy is survived by her three children, Charlotte Hart of Provo, Bill Jackson (Cheri) of Spanish Fork, and Vicki Stone (Gary) of Orem, her brother Earl Carter of Orem, 7 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 brothers, Mike, Bob, and Lenoy, and one grandchild, Jared.
Nancy has requested that there be no funeral services. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 17th, from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1315 East 900 South in Provo. A graveside service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo.
