April 15, 1963 – March 29, 2026
Michael Davis Tooke, age 62, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a deep legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, William Tooke and Shirley Ann Davis Tooke; his sister, Suzanne Lewis; and his nephew, Will Lewis.
He is survived by his daughter, Kamille Tooke; his granddaughter, Willow “Gracie”; his siblings Bill Tooke, Julie Christensen, and Heather Tooke; and many others who loved him dearly.
Michael was known for his humor, his love of music, huge heart, and his larger-than-life personality. He was a talented guitar player and a father whose love for his daughter & granddaughter “Gracie" ran deep. He made life feel magical for them in the smallest moments – from grocery store adventures, early morning sugar-filled coffees before parades, to unforgettable birthdays and holidays. He knew how to make everything fun.
He was not only a father but also a best friend to his daughter growing up. He had a natural gift with children and could make just about any baby laugh, whether standing in line at the store or sitting quietly in church. That lighthearted, playful spirit made people feel instantly joyful.
He felt things deeply—so deeply that even children’s movies could bring him to tears, though he would laugh it off and say there was “dust in his eyes.” That softness was part of what made him so special.
Beneath his humor was a deeply sensitive and loving soul. His life had both beautiful highs and difficult lows. Through it all, the love he held remained constant.
Although his presence will be missed, he is now at peace, free from pain and reunited with loved ones in heaven.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18th at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem.
