Megan Bobo

September 3, 1992 — July 4, 2014

Megan Benedict Bobo On September 3rd 1992, David Benedict, and Anna Savage Benedict Mallinson were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Megan in American Fork, Utah. We were fortunate to have 21 short years with our beautiful daughter. Early Friday morning on July 4th, 2014 Megan fell asleep and passed peacefully from this existence into her grandpas awaiting arms. She is now at peace, no longer suffering, and can watch from above. We knew we would only have a short time with her. She was born with Cystic Fibrosis. She fought a great battle against her disease which became exceedingly difficult in the last few years. She was wise for her years, understanding she had to live life to the fullest, never taking the little things for granted. At the age of 18 she met the love of her life, "her angel ", Chase Bobo. On August 13th, 2011, they married. Together they flourished and dreamed of starting a family, while always battling Megan's disease. Through all the struggles in the end she knew he was her angel, and she is his everything. Meg, and Chase were members in the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, their plans were to be together for time and all eternity. Megan was a survivor. From the second she woke to the minute she went to bed, she fought for every breath. She contained an incredible amount of passion, more than anyone can imagine. Megan made it a point to live life to the fullest. She feared nothing, yet embraced everything. Above all she loved! When you know you have such a short time on earth you know never to take the little things for granted. She is survived by: her parents David & Allison Benedict, Anna & Trent Mallinson, and her siblings Cameron, Seth, Kelsey, Kaden, Bryson, & Devin. Memorial Services will be held at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary Thursday July 10, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Megan Benedict Bobo. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd Floor Bethesda, Maryland 20814
