Max Miller

May 12, 2011 – September 24, 2025

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Max Miller, age 14, who returned to his Heavenly Father on September 24, 2025.

Max was born on May 12, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada. From the moment of his birth, he brought light and joy into the lives of those around him. He was lovingly adopted by Tres and Julie Miller and was sealed to them on December 1, 2011, in the temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His mother, Julie, preceded him in death in 2019.

Max is survived by his devoted father, Tres Miller, and his loving stepmother, Kim Miller. He is also cherished by his brothers, Alexander Todd Miller and Jackson Parker Miller, who adored and admired their younger brother deeply.

Max was an extraordinary young man with a natural artistic talent. He was especially gifted at sculpting, creating imaginative and intricate works that amazed everyone who saw them. His creativity inspired dreams of one day working for Disney or Pixar, a goal he pursued with great passion.

A dedicated student, Max earned straight A’s at school and especially loved his art classes. He also enjoyed seminary, which strengthened his faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He participated in Spanish immersion from kindergarten through junior high, building skills that opened doors to new opportunities.

Beyond academics, Max found joy in mountain biking with friends, working out at the gym, and celebrating his favorite holiday—Halloween. He had a special love for sci-fi, horror movies, and anything with aliens. His favorite color was orange, a shade that matched his bright and vibrant spirit.

Max will be remembered for his electrifying smile that could light up a room and instantly draw one in. His friends often joked that they never knew what his hair looked like because he was always wearing a hat. He loved the comfort of home-cooked meals and treasured the feeling of being surrounded by family.

Max’s time on earth was far too short, but he lived each day with laughter, light, and love. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and faith that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Viewings for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 1405 North Main Street, Orem, Utah and from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, followed by the funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.

Condolences may be expressed to the family on this page.
