Margean Butler Gardner Huntington, 86, of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, in the home of her daughter in Vineyard Utah. She was born November 20, 1934 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Allen Lathen Butler and Ellen Florabell Ryset Butler. She married Lawrence Blane Gardner on August 24, 1956. They married in the LDS Los Angeles California temple. After 47 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on May 7,2003. She married Gordon T. Huntington on October 23, 2004.
She was a wonderful homemaker, she belonged to the daughters of the Utah Pioneers and she taught 4H groups. She enjoyed the outdoors with her father in her early years working on their farm and fishing. She quilted and participated in humanitarian work. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and hosting families from all over the world.
She attended elementary school in Idaho, high school in Blythe California, LDS business college while living at the Beehive House in Salt Lake City, and Brigham Young University.
She served four missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her first mission was in Southern California. She later served with her husband Lawrence working with the Young Singles and teaching Institute classes in Utah County. Her third mission was in Window Rock, Arizona with the Navajo Nation. Her fourth was with her second husband, Gordon T Huntington, at the Heber Valley Girls Camp. She also held many other church callings throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon T. Huntington, of Spanish Fork Utah; sister, Sheryl Butler Rowe of Provo Utah; her five children; Allen Blane Gardner (Annie) of Fredonia Arizona; Cindi (Paul) Thompson of Mapleton, Utah; Lori-Jeanne Gardner of Vineyard, Utah; Charee (Bill) Morris of Colfax Washington; Jennifer (Mitch) Stoker of Salem, Utah; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren. Stepchildren; Loretta (Paul) Shepherd, Stewart (Carol) Huntington, Machelle (Todd) Newman, Frank (Darlene) Huntington, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork LDS Chapel located at 870 East Canyon Road, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing for friends and family will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sundberg-Olpin & Wheeler Mortuary located at 495 South State Street in Orem, Utah, and on Friday (for family only) from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. just prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George Utah.
