Manuel Aguirre Rodríguez, amado esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano y amigo, regresó a la presencia de nuestro Padre Celestial el 30 de mayo de 2026. Nació el 22 de agosto de 1942 en Zacatecas, Zacatecas, México, hijo de María Medrano y José María Aguirre.

Desde su niñez, Manuel aprendió el valor del trabajo, el sacrificio y el servicio. A los siete años comenzó a bolear zapatos para ayudar a su madre y contribuir al bienestar de sus hermanos. Disfrutaba de las cosas sencillas de la vida: los frijoles con huevo y salsa, los mangos, las ciruelas rojas de temporada y los guamúchiles, que recogía con entusiasmo y guardaba en los bolsillos de sus pantalones.

A los doce años continuó trabajando haciendo mandados para personas necesitadas. Más adelante, a los diecisiete años, se vio en la necesidad de aumentar su edad para poder trabajar en la mina. Desde muy joven asumió responsabilidades que iban más allá de su edad, ayudando a su madre a criar y sostener a sus hermanos menores. Su amor por ella fue evidente durante toda su vida. Con gratitud y humildad, entregaba el fruto de su trabajo para ayudar con los gastos del hogar y el cuidado de su familia.

Mientras trabajaba en la mina conoció a quien sería el amor de su vida, Oralia Maderías Quinteros. Cuando la madre de Manuel se encontraba hospitalizada, Oralia se ofreció a ayudar a la familia, preparando alimentos y cuidando de sus hermanos. Su bondad, servicio y noble corazón dejaron una profunda impresión en Manuel. Con el tiempo nació entre ellos un amor sincero que los llevó a formar una familia. Se casaron y establecieron su hogar en Tijuana, Baja California, donde criaron a sus ocho hijos y edificaron una familia basada en el amor, el trabajo y la fe en Jesucristo.

Manuel fue un hombre de Dios. Su vida estuvo marcada por una fe firme en el Salvador Jesucristo y por un profundo deseo de seguir Su ejemplo. Fue un hombre de palabra, íntegro en sus convicciones y dispuesto a servir a quienes lo rodeaban. A lo largo de su vida enfrentó pruebas y desafíos con valentía, confiando siempre en que el Señor abriría el camino.

Como esposo y padre, fue un ejemplo de sacrificio y devoción. Amó profundamente a su esposa y a sus hijos, y dedicó su vida a proveer para ellos y a guiarlos con amor. Siempre estuvo dispuesto a poner las necesidades de su familia antes que las propias. Su ejemplo de trabajo arduo, responsabilidad y servicio continúa siendo una bendición para las generaciones que le siguen.

Sus nietos y bisnietos recuerdan con cariño sus bromas, su sonrisa, sus historias y la atención especial que les brindaba. Encontraba gozo en estar rodeado de su familia y en ver crecer a quienes tanto amaba.

Manuel deja un legado eterno de fe, perseverancia, humildad, servicio y amor. Enseñó con su ejemplo que las bendiciones del Señor llegan a quienes permanecen fieles y que ninguna dificultad es demasiado grande cuando se camina de la mano de Dios. Su vida fue un testimonio de que el Evangelio de Jesucristo brinda esperanza, fortaleza y propósito.

Aunque sentimos profundamente su partida, encontramos consuelo en las promesas del Evangelio restaurado. Sabemos que gracias a la expiación y resurrección de Jesucristo, la muerte no es el final. Tenemos la bendita esperanza de que las familias pueden ser eternas y de que volveremos a reunirnos con él algún día.

Con gratitud por su vida y por el ejemplo que dejó, despedimos a nuestro querido padre sabiendo que ha concluido honorablemente su jornada terrenal y que ahora descansa en paz, esperando la gloriosa mañana de la resurrección.

Hasta que nos volvamos a ver, papá. Gracias por tu ejemplo, tu fe y tu amor. Vivirás para siempre en nuestros corazones. Te amo papá.

Manuel Aguirre Rodríguez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, returned to the presence of our Heavenly Father on May 30, 2026. He was born on August 22, 1942, in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico, to María Medrano and José María Aguirre.

From an early age, Manuel learned the value of hard work, sacrifice, and service. At the age of seven, he began shining shoes to help his mother and contribute to the well-being of his siblings. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: beans with eggs and salsa, mangoes, seasonal red plums, and guamúchiles, which he eagerly gathered and carried in his pockets.

At age twelve, he continued working by running errands for people in need. Later, at seventeen, he found it necessary to increase his age in order to work in the mines. From a young age, he assumed responsibilities far beyond his years, helping his mother raise and provide for his younger siblings. His love for her was evident throughout his life. With gratitude and humility, he gave the fruits of his labor to help support the household and care for his family.

While working in the mines, Manuel met the love of his life, Oralia Maderías Quinteros. When Manuel’s mother was hospitalized, Oralia offered to help the family by preparing meals and caring for his younger siblings. Her kindness, service, and noble heart left a lasting impression on Manuel. Over time, a sincere love grew between them, leading them to build a life together. They were married and established their home in Tijuana, Baja California, where they raised their eight children and built a family founded upon love, hard work, and faith in Jesus Christ.

Manuel was a man of God. His life was marked by unwavering faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ, and by a deep desire to follow His example. He was a man of integrity, true to his word, and always willing to serve those around him. Throughout his life, he faced trials and challenges with courage, trusting that the Lord would always prepare a way.

As a husband and father, he exemplified sacrifice and devotion. He loved his wife and children deeply and dedicated his life to providing for them and guiding them with love. He consistently placed the needs of his family above his own. His example of hard work, responsibility, and service continues to bless the generations that follow him.

His grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly remember his jokes, his smile, his stories, and the special attention he gave to each of them. He found great joy in being surrounded by his family and watching those he loved grow and succeed.

Manuel leaves behind an eternal legacy of faith, perseverance, humility, service, and love. Through his example, he taught that the Lord’s blessings come to those who remain faithful and that no challenge is too great when we walk hand in hand with God. His life was a testimony that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings hope, strength, and purpose.

Although we deeply mourn his passing, we find comfort in the promises of the restored gospel. We know that because of the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, death is not the end. We hold to the blessed hope that families can be eternal and that we will be reunited with him again someday.

With gratitude for his life and for the example he left behind, we bid farewell to our beloved father, knowing that he has honorably completed his earthly journey and now rests in peace, awaiting the glorious morning of the Resurrection.

Until we meet again, Dad. Thank you for your example, your faith, and your love. You will live forever in our hearts. I love you papá.
