Lucy Viola Syddall

Lucy Viola Syddall was born on February 21, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Oliver Guymon and Ora Viola Prestwich Guymon.  She married Edwin Lewis Russell and had a daughter, Maxene, later divorced.  She married David Albert Syddall June 17, 1941.  They had five sons and one daughter; Glenn, Danny, Mark, Ruth, James, and Jerry.  Later divorced.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Son, Danny; Brothers Don (Joey) and Leon (Barbara); Sisters Melba (Bert) and Lois (Eugene); Grandsons Keith and Timothy; and Great-grandchildren Da’neil and Rhiannon.  She is survived by Brother Melvin (Delois); Sisters Arlene (Glade), Joan (Ken), and Hazel (Charlie); Children Maxene (Toby, deceased), Glenn (Deborah), Mark (Ramona), Ruth (Bill), James, Jerry (Lori); Also a posterity of six generations.  She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Geneva Heights sixth ward, 590 North 900 West, Orem, Utah.  A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.  Condolences may be expressed to the family on this page.
