Levi Huber

November 27, 2018 — June 9, 2019

Levi Braden Huber, 6 months, of Orem, Utah passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019.  He had a short but heated battle with severe Hemophilia B which resulted in multiple massive brain hemorrhages.  Levi spent the last two weeks of his life at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, where everyone was optimistic for a recovery.  It was not meant to be.  Levi spent the last thirteen hours of his life in his mother’s arms and there was time for his family members to say goodbye to him.

His smile was infectious and his family loved to make him laugh. His hallmark was a big open mouth smile where he grinned ear to ear.  He brought his family great joy.  Family members and friends have remarked that he was an exceptionally beautiful baby.

Levi was just six months old and the main season he experienced was winter, a long Utah winter.  His family feels extremely blessed to have had Levi as long as they did.  They mourn his passing as a great loss and look forward to being reunited with him in Heaven.  They are comforted by the knowledge that he is with his Savior and several beloved family members lost in recent years.  Levi is survived by many family members: his parents, Braden and Catherine Huber, his siblings, Isla, Noah, and Brighton, his grandparents, David and Debra Huber, and Sheila and Daniel Kane, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Levi was loved deeply!

His siblings adored him.  Isla and Noah were in the delivery room when he was born.  His older siblings were thrilled to have a baby brother.  Noah is Brad’s “mini-me” and Noah considered Levi his “mini-me”.  All of his siblings doted on him.  His siblings would compete for his attention and he was delighted to have so much love.

Levi’s mother was a prolific social media poster and frequently posted regarding their family.  Levi and his siblings had to put up with many impromptu photo shoots.  These photos and memories are a great comfort for his family now that he has passed away.

One of these memories is when Levi was laughing at the family dog, Hero, who uses a bell on a string to ring when he wants to go outside.  No one came to open the door for the dog and Levi just kept laughing and laughing.  His family feels that it showed his intelligence level at such a young age.

All of Levi’s siblings enjoyed reading to him.  Just a few weeks ago, his older brother, Noah, was reading a dinosaur book to him and, although Levi was probably too young to understand the story, his attention was captured completely and he shared a deep, loving  look with his brother which is engaging to watch in video..

Levi freely gave of his smiles and happy personality.  His family mourns his passing which was much too soon, but he will be ours forever.
