Leuana Marie Loveridge Nelson of Orem, Utah, passed away peacefully in her home on June 4, 2026. She was born on November 14, 1938, in American Fork, Utah, to Evelyn Hair Loveridge and James Alvin Loveridge. She married Alfred Ross Nelson on September 20, 1957.
Leuana loved gardens, sewing, traveling, the beaches in Hawaii, birthdays, and holidays. She especially loved planning and hosting summer barbecues and Christmas breakfast for her family. She was Ross’s sweetheart, and she loved ‘her girls’. She was the Best and ‘funnest’ Grandma. Her heart was always full of love, her arms always open for hugs, and her cookie jar was always full of E.L. Fudge cookies.
Leuana is survived by her loving husband, Ross, her three daughters: Roslyn (Jim) Nelson, Shauna (Drue) Park, and Coi (Colin) Puriri, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Tammy (Jerry) Alvey. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie (Bonnie) Loveridge and Jimmy (Janice) Loveridge.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 N. 800 E., Orem, Utah. Bring a chair if desired. Friends and loved ones are invited to wear florals, Aloha print, or beautiful colors to honor and celebrate Leuana’s beautiful life.
