Larell Baker

Our husband, father, grandfather and friend LaRell Brown Baker, age 61, of Orem, passed away May 2, 2014 at his home. He was born September 28, 1952 in Payson, Utah, to Glen and Crystal Myrl Brown Baker. LaRell married Carol Jean Wilson for time and all eternity on August 13, 1974 in the Manti LDS Temple. LaRell's great love for others motivated him throughout his life to accomplish much. LaRell served an LDS mission in England, as well as faithfully serving in other capacities in the church. He was well educated; receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and an MBA from University of Phoenix. LaRell happily worked as a pharmacist. LaRell's most cherished relationships were with his wife, son and granddaughters. LaRell looked forward with great anticipation to spending time with his son and granddaughters. LaRell is survived by his wife Carol, his son Jeff (Melissa) and his granddaughters Addison and Crystal. He is also survived by his brothers LeGrand (Marilyn), Loyal (RuthAnn), Luain (Leslie) as well as his sister Glenonna (Mark) Hoover and his sister-in-law Veea Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother LeEarl Baker. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS chapel at 114 South 400 West, Orem. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home, 495 South State Street, Orem and also Tuesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo.
