Kathryn Clements
December 3, 1952 – October 4, 2025
Kathryn Clements, 72, of Lehi, Utah, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 3, 1952, in Provo, Utah, to Reid and Beth Garlick. Kathryn married Lyle Rodger Clements on September 25, 1971. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Ut. temple. Rod proceeded her in death on June 21, 2021.
She graduated from American Fork High School in May of 1971. Kathryn had many jobs including delivering newspapers, babysitting, and working as a CNA at Larsen’s Nursing Home in Lehi. She loved people of all ages and was gentle and fun to all in her care. Kathryn’s life was filled with kindness, and service. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, collecting Beanie Babies, porcelain dolls, and angels. She enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz play basketball, particularly Stockton and Malone.
Kathryn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Most of her church callings were spent in the primary teaching children about Jesus Christ and His love for them. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and lived it whole-heartedly. She enjoyed time with her friends in book club and playing Bingo at the Senior Center. She had a special place in her heart for those in need—always opening her home and heart to anyone who needed love and comfort.
Kathryn was compassionate and loving, deeply devoted to her family and her faith. She was the life of the party, always had a joke to tell and made every room she entered sparkle with her beautiful smile. Her happy attitude and tender heart will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three step-children and five children: LanaRae Clements of Pleasant Grove UT; Rick (Alyse) Clements of Blanding UT; Ken (Diane) Clements of Orem UT; Dustin (Pam) Clements of Cedar City UT; Monica Guest of Eagle Mountain UT; Andy (Marcia) Clements of Lehi UT; Jill (Matthew) Gale of Provo UT; Christian Clements of Lehi UT; 32 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Rod, two sons-in-law, Donny Morse and Chris Guest, her grandson, Dylan, and her parents, Reid and Beth Garlick.
Kathryn’s family will remember her as a gentle, steady presence who brought light, laughter, and love wherever she went. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
