JoAnn Parry Roberts

JoAnn Roberts, oldest of four children, raised by Howd & Mitzi Parry in Salt Lake City, UT, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025.

She graduated from the University of Utah and WSU in Pullman.

She taught physical education at BYU and later worked in the admissions office.

She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paris, France. She was on writing committees for The Church and served on the General Board of the Young Women's Organization.

She was sealed to Stanley Roberts, Jr, in 1979, in Provo, UT. They adopted and raised three children: Teresa, Brent, and Nathan.

She was an active humanitarian and influenced many lives.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 6-8 pm at Wheeler-Sundberg Funeral Home, 495 South State Street, Orem. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 1700 South 400 East, Orem, with a viewing held that morning at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo.
