Joann Draper

JoAnn Johnson Draper passed away quickly January 12, 2019 at the age of 77.

JoAnn was born March 30th, 1941 to David Kenneth and Beth Robertson Johnson. She grew up in Springville, Utah and graduated from Springville High School. She married Albert James Draper May 20th, 1960 in the Salt Lake City Temple and together they had 5 children. She graduated from Hollywood Beauty School in 1961 and joyfully did hair for the next 54 years, making many life long friends. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in the Provo temple for 7 years.

She is survived by her faithful cat Molly, her best friend of the last two years Byrleen Miller, her 5 children; Scott (Debbie) Draper of Orem; Greg (Sandra) Draper of American Fork ; Dana (Brent) Uresk of Spanish Fork; Jennifer Buchanan of Lehi; and Chad (Amy) Draper of St Louis, Missouri; her 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, brothers Craig Johnson and John Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Connie Taufer and brother David Wallace Johnson.

The family would like to thank the Provo Beehive home and her Beehive family where she lived for the last 2 years of her life.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday January 19th, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Grandview Ward Chapel 1270 W 1150 N, Provo. Friends may call at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary 495 State St, Orem, UT Friday evening, from 6-8PM, or Saturday at the Ward Chapel, one hour prior to services. Interment, Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family on this page.
