Janet Michaelle Hatt Raymond, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and dear friend, passed away peacefully at her home early Monday morning on the birthday of our Savior, April 6, 2026, at about 1:15 am. She was reunited with her Heavenly and her Earthly parents, Vail and Betsy Hatt, who preceded her in death. A son, Trevor Joshua, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, starting at 11:00 am at the Woodland Hills Chapel located at 220 S. Woodland Hills Drive in Woodland Hills, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral, starting at 9:30 am at the Church.
Janet is survived by her two sisters, Lana Christine Hatt Coomer and Vicki Elaine Hatt Bayles, both of Green River, Utah; her husband and eternal companion Michael Cleve Raymond of Woodland Hills, and her four sons Adam Michael (Kimberlie) of Eagle Mountain, Tyler Ross from Woodland Hills, Chase Clayton (Ashley Eccles) of Sandy, and Steven Vail, Saratoga Springs, Utah, and seven grandchildren, Nikolus Anthony, Jaydyn Michael, Miles Tyler, Dorothy Allison, Henry Thomas, Adelyn and Maxwell Michael.
Our family is grateful for the many caregivers over the past 10 years who helped Janet overcome cancer twice and always treated her with dignity, respect, and genuine concern. Janet loved her family dearly and always attended soccer games, dance concerts, piano recitals, gymnastic events, birthdays, and coming to their homes. She loved to hike with her husband, and travel, and enjoy the beauty of the world, and was able to fulfill her long-held desire to visit sacred Church History sites last September, including the Sacred Grove, Adam-ondi-Ahman, the Kirtland and Nauvoo Temples, and Winter Quarters. She loved Jesus Christ, her Savior and Redeemer, and she was a true disciple.
Condolences for the family may be expressed on this page.
