Janet Jackson

Janet was born on April 11, 1943, in Torrance, California.  She passed away on December 4, 2022, in Provo, Utah.  She married her sweetheart Larry on April 17, 1973. Janet was an active member of the LDS Church and held several different callings, sometimes four or five at the same time.  Janet served a mission to Germany but says she doesn’t speak German very well.  She graduated from BYU and taught elementary school in California for several years.  One of her favorite hobbies was doing paper craft items and for the last four or five years created birthday cards for the Relief Society sisters in her ward.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her three brothers.  She is survived by her husband Larry, son Ron (Melissa), six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a sister Dorothy Johnson.  Interment will be at the Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo.  A memorial service will be held later for family members.
