George Cole Rands left his premortal life to join the land of the living on March 29, 1933. Subsequently, a very full, adventurous life was had before George’s eventual departure into eternal life on June 7th, 2021 .
George or “Judd,” as known by many was born into a severe economic depression which shaped his creative and intelligent minds. The earth has seldom seen a man with so many abilities and interests. George was the master at everything he tried, providing a supreme example of courage, integrity and excellence in every form and fashion. George’s quick, unusual dry wit may have offended many, leaving many scratching their heads, while a few were able see the absolutely wry way at laughing at the world and it’s usual comedy. George served in many positions within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His particular areas of interest were the Boy Scouts as well as multiple missions throughout the world and temple work.
George leaves his wife Ellen of over 65 years and sons Barton David (Robin), Frank, George Alexander and daughter Liz to carry on a wonderful tradition as a united family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Orem City Cemetery. Condolences for family may be left on this page.
