Listen to Obituary

Dyana Lynn Mausser of Orem, Utah, passed away at her home on May 22. 2026. She was born on August 27, 1975, in American Fork, Utah. She had a lovely smile, a huge heart filled with love for her family, friends, and her kind, guiding Savior, Jesus Christ.

She spent her early years in Provo, Utah, and Boulder City, Nevada. Then returned to Provo, where she attended elementary and middle school. She then went to Provo High School, where she graduated and began her working career. She found great happiness in work and learning interesting responsibilities and becoming known in the local service industry for her reliability, connection with customers, and making lasting friendships with co-workers, clients, and management. Dyana had a special gift of making everyone she met feel special and loved. She worked for many years at the McDonald's franchises in Provo and Orem before accepting a position at Walmart in Orem, where she was specially recognized by management for her example to co-workers and customers.

Her family was always her highest priority. She loved family outings, get-togethers, and celebrating holidays and birthdays. Her nephews and nieces always received special gifts she thought would fit their interests and lives. She was always at the school performances and sports events.

Dyana’s testimony of Jesus Christ was the core of her life, and her love of membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the guiding light of her life. She was consistently faithful in ministering to other sisters in the Church while having her ward callings with the children in Primary every Sunday. Dyana loved living next to the Orem temple and regularly walked during the week, serving and seeking peace in doing work for her ancestors.

Dyana had many friends from work, church, and neighbors. She spent much of her free time going with them to weekly dinners, church activities, movies, and traveling. She was well-known for seeing a movie multiple times with different friends, attending special events in the community together, and traveling to many places in different states and countries in the world. Some of her favorite times were trying new things like swimming with dolphins and trotting on a beach astride a friendly camel.

When not traveling, she loved anything Disney. Her ultimate travel adventure was going to Disney World in Orlando for her 50th birthday and proudly covering 5 theme parks in five days with her mother and father trying to keep up!

Dyana is survived by Eric Mausser, Carol Mausser, Doug Mausser (Stefanie), Whit Hertford, Chelsea Taylor, Brighton Hertford, Weston Mausser, Trace Mausser, Avery Mausser, Phineas Taylor, Hayes Taylor, Christine Morley Mausser, Adam Mausser (Tina), and Kirsten Mausser.
