Connie Rae Stubbs Malone

Connie Rae Stubbs Malone, age 74, passed away on February 23, 2026, in Provo, Utah, surrounded by loved ones. Connie was born on May 12, 1951, in Provo, Utah, to Clifton Dean and Jessie Cooper Stubbs. She was the oldest of three children. She married William Curtis Malone on December 14, 1979, in the Provo Temple. They had four children. Curtis preceded her in death on July 01, 2006.

Connie was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings over the years, including: Relief Society President, Young Women’s President, Primary President, Primary Teacher, and as Young Women’s Camp Director.

She was an amazing mother who touched the lives of many. She was a mentor and friend to all those she worked with at Westridge Elementary, where she spent her time teaching reading to those who were struggling.

She is survived by her children Jaime Rae Malone; Cori Linn Wolfenbarger and spouse Chris; Ammon Curtis Malone and spouse Kathryn and Whitney Paige Willcocks and spouse Dion; nine grandchildren: Rykert Malone, Lilly Malone, Asher Malone, Tavin Willcocks, Ladd Malone, Oakley Willcocks, Althea Willcocks, Clifton Willcocks and Peyton Malone; brother Roger Stubbs, sister Shauna Busby; and 13 nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Curtis Malone; parents Clifton Dean and Jessie Cooper Stubbs, son-in-law Eric Michael Dunton Jr, and nephew Hyrum Stubbs.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Carterville LDS Chapel, 900 West 2150 North, Provo, Utah. There will be a viewing on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Wheeler-Sundberg Funeral Home, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah, and at the church from 9:30 am to 10:30 am prior to the services on Monday. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. WE LOVE YOU MOM!
