Charles “Larry” Earl, 82, of Orem, passed away Sunday, September 4th, 2022, at home. He was born November 12th, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Elmer “Ed” LeRoy Earl and Elsie LaVerda Nelson. He married Carolyn Rosella Alvey, together they had a son, Jason. They were later divorced.
Larry served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, racing, collecting, and recycling aluminum, and puttering in his garage and basement. He was a skilled door builder working for Boise Cascade/BMC West for over 28 years. He was talented and loved what he did. He was a proud bachelor and lived life on his terms.
Larry is survived by his son, Jason (Jenny) Earl of Saratoga Springs, Utah; his grandchildren, Brian, Ethan, Hannah, and Josh; Stepdaughter, Christy (Chuck) Lawrence of Orem, Utah; Brother, Lynn (Shirley) Earl of South Jordan, Utah; Dear friend, Nathan (Jennifer) Kay of Sandy, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Earl.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 9th, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park located at 17111 South 1700 West Bluffdale, Utah with military rites by the American Legion.

We would also like to thank Rocky Mountain Home Care and Hospice for the loving care they provided Dad. Hannah, Emme, Makayla, Addy, Trent, Kraig, and Coleen, we couldn’t have done it without you.
