Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Brenda Louise Chabot, age 66, passed away after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer at her home in Orem, Utah on January 6, 2024. Brenda was born June 11, 1957, in Riverside, California to Beverly Joan Hannah and James Oliver Tracy. She married her soulmate, Robert Neal Chabot, on December 5, 1975. Together they had eleven children.
Known for her warm heart and generosity, Brenda will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Brenda was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many church positions throughout her life. She also served her community by teaching preschool, volunteering with NAMI, and working with individuals and families with special needs as a Family Resource Facilitator for the State of Utah. Brenda was a tireless advocate for those in need and an inspiration to many. But most of all, she was devoted to her family and friends. Brenda was never happier than when she was surrounded by those she loved.
Brenda’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy and compassion she brought to others in life, and not the sadness of her passing.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her eleven children: Shersta A. Chabot, Lenae L. (Josh) Crowe, Michelle L. (Michael) Schnebly, Ryan R. (Tristan) Chabot, Jason N. (Jackie) Chabot, Tara J. (Kenny) Long, Blaze J. (Jamie) Chabot, Joanna E. (Matt) Draper, Alyssa M. (Scott) Hadlock, Eli A. (Monica) Chabot, Clarissa L. Chabot; her 34 grandchildren, her six siblings, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
