Billie Lou Ericksen Rowley

Billie Lou Ericksen Rowley, age 90, of Orem, Utah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Billie Lou was born on December 30, 1935, a daughter of Louis Shirley Ericksen and Louise Marie Christensen Ericksen in Orem, where she lived most of her life.

Billie Lou married her high school sweetheart, Albert Marvin Rowley, Jr., on June 21, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they enjoyed 59 years of marriage. 

Billie Lou will be remembered for her love of family and her love for serving others. Her greatest joy was that of being a wife and mother. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully in every calling she was asked to do.

Billie Lou is survived by her two children, Robert Louis (Kathryne) Rowley, and Sharlyn Rowley Adams. Ten Grandchildren Rogan (Kim) Rowley, Tanya (Jared) Barrera, Kimberlee (Spencer) Pace, Shelly (Nathan) Ramsey, Stefenee (Brent) Mason, Mitch (April) Adams, Shane (Jena) Rowley, Stacee (Tyler) Dunaway, Linsey (Dustin) Lybbert, Kristee (Kyle) Chandler, 45 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and her sister Shirleen Cowley. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert Marvin Rowley, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Heatheridge 6ᵗʰ Ward Chapel, 450 East 2000 North Orem, Utah 84097. A viewing will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 6 to 8pm at Wheeler-Sundberg Funeral home, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah, and also Friday at the ward chapel 9:30-10:30am prior to the services. Interment will be held in the Orem City Cemetery.
