Arvid Kelander

Arvid Andrew Kelander, 94 Orem, Utah passed away Christmas morning.   Graduated from P.G. High 1943.  He was a WW2 Vet proudly serving on a LCI in the Navy.  After the war he went to work at Geneva Steel where he was a heavy duty mechanic and his nick name was Swede.  He married Eva Rae Davis and they had six Children: Susan Kelander (Orem, UT) Mark (DeAnna) Kelander, (Payson UT) Janet Harding (Pleasant Grove, UT) David Kelander (Orem, Ut) Jeneal (Gayle) Charlesworth, Santaquin UT) Ryan Kelander (Orem, UT) Arvid had 10 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.  Plus many unofficial ones.  He loved them all, even if he could not remember their names.  Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary  495 S. State Street, Orem, Utah   Also 9 to 10:30 the morning of Saturday January 5, 2019.
