Arnold Knudsen

February 18, 1936 — December 21, 2017

Morley Arnold Knudsen passed from mortality December 21, 2017, at his home in Branson, Missouri. He was born February 18, 1936, in Bluewater, New Mexico, to Morley and Lottie Knudsen.

Arnold grew up in Farmington, New Mexico, and was the second oldest and oldest brother of eight siblings. He learned to play piano at the age of 7 and enjoyed playing piano throughout his life. He was a gifted musician and instilled in his children a love for music. He played the piano beautifully for his family and at church.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout his life, served a full-time Mission to Virginia & North Carolina from 1956-1958, and held several church callings including Elders Quorum president, ward choir director and ward clerk.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserve SP4, 1959-1965.

Arnold married his eternal companion Joyce Maybelle Brown in the Mesa, Arizona, Temple on September 22, 1960, and together they raised ten sons.

Arnold is survived by his sons Barry (Suzanne), Kevin (Shannon), Lynn (Leticia), Jak (Cheryl), Owen (Joanna), Curtis (Nichole), Charles, Brent (Emily), Don (Jenny), and James; 31 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Knudsen; brother David Knudsen; father Morley Knudsen and mother Lottie Knudsen.

Memorial services will be held at the LDS Church in Branson West, Missouri, on January 20, 2018, directed by Greenlawn Funeral Home and on January 27, 2018, in Orem, Utah, directed by Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home.
