Angela Gaye Cauley

Angela Gaye (Housekeeper) Cauley, aged 52, of Provo UT, passed on unexpectedly in the comfort of her childhood home on Monday, March 18^th, 2024.  She was born June 9^th, 1971, in Provo Utah to Gayle Housekeeper; Angela grew up in Provo and attended a young mother's high school.  She married Steve Draper with whom she had 4 children with, Cassie, Colten, Dusten, and Travis.  They later divorced and Angela met David Virgil Cauley in 1988, marking the beginning of a lifelong love story. Angela and David spent the next years making memories, raising children, and building a loving home for their family. After many years together they finally tied the knot on April 14^th, 2001. 

 Angie cherished spending time outdoors and treasured every moment with her loved ones. She was most well-known for happily taking charge of entertaining and caring for the children, orchestrating crafts, engaging activities, and adventurous scavenger hunts. Her love for children was boundless, earning her the title of "Nana" to many, regardless of biological relation. Angela's compassionate nature extended well beyond her family, as she readily offered support to anyone in need. Notably, Angie and David opened their hearts and home to their grandson Kaydence, providing him with love and care as if he were their own child.

She is survived by her husband David Cauley, sister Amy Nielson, daughter Cassie (Jake) Draper, son’s Travis (Whittney) Draper, Colten (TaLysa) Draper, grandchildren Kinliey, Riker, and Cruz Martinez, Kaydence, Kayden, Addison, Keaton, Kestynn, Jaxen, and KopeLynn Draper. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Dusten Tyler Draper, mother Gayle Housekeeper, Grandmother Gaye Greenhalgh, friend Teddi Jo Kerby, along with many other loved ones.

A viewing will be held at the Wheeler & Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home (495 South State Street, Orem, UT 84058) on Thursday, March 21^st, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will then be held the following day, Friday, March 22^nd, beginning with a private viewing for family from 9:30-10:30 a.m., with Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., 376 N. 700 W., Provo Utah. A light luncheon at the church will follow directly after the services for family and close friends
