Albert Rowley Jr

Albert Marvin Rowley Jr. age 77, of Orem Utah passed away suddenly on Monday, May 12, 2014 of cardiac arrest while traveling in Belgium. Albert was born on May 21, 1936 a son of Albert Marvin Rowley Sr. and Lucy LaVern Prestwich Rowley in Orem, where he lived all of his life. Albert married his high school sweetheart, Billie Lou Ericksen on June 21, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they have enjoyed 59 years of marriage. He enjoyed working with family and close friends at Intermountain Soft Water, where he worked throughout his life until retirement. Albert loved people, those who knew Albert knew they had a friend. He will be remembered for his wisdom and his love of serving others. Albert was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in every calling he was asked to do. Most of all, Albert loved his family. Albert is survived by his wife Billie Lou, two children Robert Louis (Kathryne) Rowley and Sharlyn Rowley Adams, ten grandchildren, Rogan (Kim) Rowley, Tanya (Jared) Barrera, Kimberlee (Spencer) Pace, Shelly (Nathan) Ramsey, Stefenee (Brent) Mason, Mitch (Jeannene) Adams, Shane (Jena) Rowley, Stacee (Tyler) Dunaway, Linsey (Jon) Lanman, Kristee Rowley, and twenty-five great-grandchildren. One brother, Vern (Ann) Rowley, and two sisters, Deann (Wayne) Harris and Jeana (Ray) Holt. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 21, 2014, 11:00am at the Heatheridge 6th Ward chapel , 1505 North 130 East, Orem. A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 20th, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home, 495 South State Street, Orem, and also Wednesday at the ward chapel 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be held in the Orem City Cemetery.
