Ronald D. Healy 74, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in St. George Utah on May 16, 2023.

Ron was born along with his twin sister, ReNae Palmer on April 12, 1949, in Provo, Utah to his parents Pearl and Leslie Healy. He graduated from Orem high school in 1967. He was very well-liked and had many friends. After graduating he served in the US Army.

He married Elaine Strader, from Baltimore, MD, who he loved dearly. Ron and Elaine loved to go camping with his parents. He also enjoyed going hunting and fishing.  He was so good to his parents and helped them a lot.  In his retirement years, he loved to travel with Elaine.

He loved his pugs and had many over the years

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Healy of Saint George, Utah, his children, Kim Howard of Nephi, Utah, Brandon Mellor of Moroni, Utah, Melody Healy of Murray, Utah, and Britney Bettilyon of Draper Utah. 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren and his sister, ReNae Palmer of Oakley, Idaho, and many nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Pearl Healy, his sisters, Fern, Doris, Violet, and Joyce, and brothers Gayle and Don.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 9:30-10:30 am at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem. A Graveside service will immediately follow at 11:00 am at Orem City Cemetery with Military rites by the American Legion.
