Bill was a man of many talents.  He attended BYU, Rick’s college, and graduated nursing school from South Puget Sound College in Washington State.  He loved traveling the world to sing with the Salt Lake Men’s Choir.  He was a member of the LDS church and served a full-time mission to Manchester, England.  He joined the army shortly after school.  He later joined the Airforce Reserves and practiced his nursing skills in the airvac services.  Bill was very proud to be an American.  He was a practicing LPN for 34 years and was working at Orem Rehab.  He loved his job and his co-workers and all the residents he took care of.  He will be missed dearly.

He loved music and especially his Association with the Salt Lake Men’s choir with whom he sang with for 18 years.  He loved the brotherhood of the choir and looked forward to every Thursday night.

He met his current partner Kevin Sheriff on Bill’s 60th birthday.  They talked on the phone for 4 hours the first night.

Bill is survived by brothers Phillip (Donna) Barckley, Gary Barckley, Gregory Barckley and Sister-in-law Laurie Barckley all living in Washington State.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and his Partner Kevin Sheriff.
