Helen Louise Hansen Nielsen Sampson January 20, 1940 April 29, 2012

Helen Louise Hansen Nielsen Sampson, 72 of Pleasant Grove, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother left this earthly life on Sunday, April 29, 2012 due to injuries sustained in a fall. She was the ninth and youngest child of George Gilbert and Martha Olena Hansen. She spent her childhood years in Orem and graduated from Orem High School. She married Robert Leroy Nielsen in June of 1958. They were the parents of eight children and later divorced. She married Dean Sampson in May of 1998. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and seven sisters. She is survived by her husband Dean Sampson, brother Jack (Koa) Hansen and children; Shauna (Tim) Williams, Shauri (Delyle) Johnson, Sandra (Chris) Christensen, Doug (Holly) Nielsen, Bert (Nicole) Nielsen, Krysti (Jim) Condie, Deona (Jason) Carling and Kyle (Ivy) Nielsen; also seven step-children Kathleen Sampson, Karaleah Mack, Kevin Sampson, Kurt Sampson, Amber Mikus, Jacob Sampson and Ashley Sampson. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, and one cat, Dinah. She was an active member of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved spending time with her family and took great joy in her posterity including her three missionary grandsons.

Friends and Family may pay their respects on Wednesday evening at the Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, Orem, UT 495 S. State St. from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the Grove 1st ward in Pleasant Grove, UT, 56 S. 1300 W. at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
