Rose Wilkinson Reed

Rose Wilkinson Reed, age 99, of Orem, passed away May 1, 2012 in Provo, Utah. She was born December 28, 1912 in Orem, Utah a daughter of Joseph Albert and Margret Gillies Wilkinson.

She was a gifted artist. Rose enjoyed attending the Orem Senior Center where she loved dancing and was an aerobics instructor. She worked as a tour guide for Christopherson Tours.

Survivors include her son Raymond (Jeanine) Bailey, 7 grandchildren; Bret Bailey, Reed Bailey, Greg Bailey, Angie Reed, Gil Reed, Jesse Reed and Hank Reed. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Fred Reed. The family would like to thank the staff of the Alpha Omega Hospice Organization and also the Trinity Mission Staff of Provo for the loving care they showed to Rose.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem. A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and also Friday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
